About our Founder

Jake Bergman is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated as a member of the dean’s and commandant’s list. Upon graduation, Mr. Bergman served as a member of the Raider Brigade during Operation Iraqi Freedom I, and he was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor for his actions while conducting operations inside the Sunni Triangle.

After returning home from the war, Jake earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated in the upper quartile. Following graduation, Mr. Bergman worked as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley in the financial sponsors and corporate finance group, where he advised on M&A and leveraged buyout transactions in the consumer product, industrial, and consulting industries. After his experience at Morgan Stanley, Jake worked for Brinderson, a full-service engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and turnaround company serving the western United States. While there, Jake worked directly for Mr. Brinderson and was responsible for sourcing and evaluating strategic add-on opportunities for the firm.
